Endodontic Surgery
[apicoectomy]
Endodontic surgery is called an apicoectomy, which is a procedure designed to save a tooth when a traditional root canal cannot do so. During this treatment, our doctors will surgically remove the tip of the root that is causing the discomfort or infection. Surgery can be a scary word, but this procedure is also completely pain free (you will be awake), and afterwards you can expect to experience minor bruising/swelling but no severe pain.
